We got up this morning and Adam( a native Scottishman) picked us up for church. Some people say that when you go some place you miss the singing from your own church or you miss the preaching or something like that. But at the church we went to today, I was soaking up the singing, there wasn't five hundred people...more like fifty...but it was so incredable. I felt like there was so much passion and conviction when they were singing! I don't want anyone to think that I don't think my home congregation doesn't have good singing because we do, but it was so uplifting to see and hear fellow brothers and sisters worshipping. I felt so connected to them and was so blessed to get the chance to meet them. A little girl at the church was also named Megan so during church she made me a picture. It is so cute. It says "I hope you like this picture because I do"
After lunch, which by the way took forever...we came back to the Carronvale house and just got to relax. Most people slept, but I did some homework. I know what some of you are thinking (overachevier) but really it is so I can have fun later! Anyways, I've got to go to bed soon, because our first day of school is tomorrow and I've got to get some sleep!
