A few miles down the road we stopped at the Inveraray Castle where the Duke and Dutchess of Argyll live. It was really pretty and there was a pasture close by that had some, what I like to call half highland coos(cows), and a lot of sheep/rams. I took some pictures and made moo sounds at them..other than that we decided to move on.
Our next stop was at St. Conan's Kirk (church). It was hidden away behind some trees and we almost past it. We got out and decided to take a look. We were the ony ones there, but it felt I like I was the only one there. It was on a side of a mountian and had a great view. I sat up on the ledge outside and just started singing, I stand in Awe..becasue I was. I have never appreciated God's beauty more than then. We later went back into the church and as a group sang a few songs. The echos of the acappella voices was overwhelming.

Our next stop was Oban. We had only a wee bit of time to eat lunch there and look around. We ate at a coffee shop called Pancake Place...and I of course had to have pancakes, which were really good!
Our next stop...we make a lot of stops, was Stalker castle. We actually didn't stop, because it is on a island in the middle of a lock, but we did see it and got some really cool pictures. Stalker castle was one of the castles wher Monty Python was filmed.
Our next to last stop was at Glencoe. We took a little hie around the valley and saw the tallest mountain in Great Britian and we saw a volcano! Luckly it didn't erupt. I also got to see a house, well what was left of it, from the 17/18th century. It belonged to the McDonald clan. There were 9 people killed there by the royal army after the king ordered the McDonald clan be killed. It was kind of spooky and we were in the middle of these woods that looked like they could have been from the movie Braehart. The Glencoe valley and other parts of the highlands are where Bravehart was filmed. I could see why. It was breath taking.
That night we stayed on Lock Laven at the Lock Laven hotel. Our room was really cool and our view was incredible. As we ate dinner downstairs I felt like out window was only a painting not something I would later go explore. After dinner a bunch of us went exploring on a trail that follows the Lock. Aubrey and I got to a peer/dock and were just talking about how people can see places like this but still not believe there is a God. We decided to pray together...which is always a great idea. We sat down and after we finished praying I got up and felt something wet on my behind. I had sat in, of all things, bird poop. So I got some leaves and did my best to wipe it off. Needless to say Aubrey was laughing a lot, but so was I. Also at the hotel there was a couple who had two grerman shephards...I found my dogs cousins! Yeah for family!
