Today I got to take my first train ride and see my first real castle! We went into Edinburgh and got the whole day to do whatever we wanted! We walked the Royal Mile.....like 4 times, and they call it the royal MILE for a reason. Needless to say, my legs are tired! And for the Harry Potter fans I ate lunch at a place called the Elephant House, which happens to be the place that J.K Rollins wrote the first Harry Potter book. I also got to see the school that she supposively got the idea for Hogwarts. After lunch we got to tour the castle and I felt like a princess. it was Beautiful and I felt like I could see for miles! I had so much fun and the best part is we get to go tomorrow and walk down the other main street called Princes street...maybe I'll find my Prince! I also got the oppurtunity to see some bagpipers and get my picture with them....FUN!!! Anyways, here are a few pictures from today!

Hi Megan
Glad you're having a gret time. Did you know about walk talk tours? They're the ones you download to your iPod or MP3 payer which then becomes your tour guide.
There are two in Edinburgh, one in York and five in London.
Take a look at http://www.walktalktour.com - aand enjoy the rest of your stay.
